We are the best private coffee roastery that produces high quality roasted and ground coffee according to international standards using state of the art coffee roasting machineries and well trained professionals or coffee experts.
The company was found in 2018; but it has gained huge recognition and its products have become number one choice by many coffee lovers that daily enjoy the coffee drinks served at the company's Bonna Café located in Addis Ababa.
This is due to the company's industrious workers, especially its owner and general manager Mrs. Mulu Bekele who is a model business woman that envisioned to serve best quality Ethiopian coffee to both local and international markets by collaborating her families' vast experience in growing, processing, and marketing of exceptionally high quality Sidama coffee.
What Does
Bonna Mean?
The word "Bonna" represents two things: First, it is the name of a very beautiful rural woreda found in Sidama region which is the leading coffee producing region in Ethiopia. Second, the word means "pride" according to the country's two languages, namely Sidamigna and Oromiffa. The later meaning resonates the company's vision to be proud ambassador of best quality Ethiopian coffees, especially Sidama ® and Yirgachefe ®.
We differ from others by being very determined to producing quality products using highest quality coffee beans, actively participating in the coffee value chain, employing qualified professionals and using high standard coffee roasting machines.
